Yes4Youth Programme
Jozi Mobility trained the 28 Glasfit-recruited Yes4Youth candidates for the 2024 programme, who have been strategically placed at key fitment centres. This programme is for a 12-month period.
These young individuals have been trained and certified as installation technicians to install driver behaviour devices and systems at the respective branches where they have been placed.
Our aim is to further upskill and develop these individuals by training and certifying them as chip repair technicians, whilst improving our repair quality and increasing repair capacity at these branches.
We believe that this upliftment programme not only allows each student to obtain a skill, but also prepares them to stand on their own in a business environment.
Glasfit and Jozi Mobility’s aim is to continue with this initiative for the foreseeable future to assist with upskilling as many of these individuals as possible.
